As Managing Director for the K M Group, Khan provides the overarching leadership for the business, based on over 15 years of extensive experience in Construction, Civil Engineering and Utilities, gained within major Contractors, prior to establishing K M Plant Hire & Groundworks Ltd. officially in early 2010, having concluded that Trenchless Technologies could unlock exceptional value for the Sector. Khan revels in the cut and thrust of business and in achieving objectives many others consider undoable. Khan still enjoys practical 'hands-on' involvement and is considered to be an uncompromising visionary, driving Innovation in and progress the wider industry sector.
As Head of Commercial for the K M Group, Andrew drives the Commercial Department at K M Plant, leading a dynamic team of skilled and experienced Construction, Civil Engineering and Utilities professionals. Andrew benefits from over 15 years experience in various Operational and Commercial roles, held with leading Contractors in Construction, Civil Engineering and the Utilities Sector. Andrew has been with K M Plant Hire & Groundworks since its inception in 2010, and leads the Quantity Surveyors and Commercial Team with uncompromising attention to detail and thoroughness, from his key position in the K M Group's Senior Leadership Team.
As Head of Finance, Malinka is charged with Managing the Financial Affairs of the K M Group and its composite business units and trading divisions, and leads a dedicated team of Finance and Accounting professionals responsible for the Financial wellbeing and stewardship of the wider business. Malinka benefits from over 12 years experience in Construction and Civil Engineering Business Accounting, and joined K M Plant Hire & Groundworks in 2010, from a background in FMCG Retail Finance and in Commercial Photographic Services. Malinka is a key member of the Group 's Senior Leadership Team.
Lisa originally joined K M Plant Hire & Groundworks in 2016 as a Office Manager, going on to become the Quality & Compliance Manager for the K M Group in September 2020. Lisa joined following a successful Management career in Facilities Cleansing Services Management, and having displayed a keen eye for detail and a passion for systemic excellence during her tenure as the Office Manager leading a busy team, progressed into the key role of Quality and Compliance Manager, ensuring the highest possible standards of service, correct processes and optimal operations are applied. Lisa has been actively involved in the attainment of highly prestigious Accreditations such as Lloyds Register WIRS and international quality standards Accreditations such as ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 for the business, and Lisa ensures Client required critical Accreditations are achieved, maintained and augmented as the Group businesses progress and develop into further areas of Client service.
Scott originally joined K M Plant Hire & Groundworks in 2010 shortly after its inception, initially as a Operative, and has excelled in various Ganger, Supervisory and Team Leadership roles within the business, rising to become Area and Construction Delivery Manager, the role Scott presently occupies. Scott's team, customer and client management skills are legendary within the business, and he has justly earned the progressions he has enjoyed within the organisation, attained through sheer hard work and dedication. All delivered in his trademark modest and friendly manner. Scott has contributed significantly to the practical aspects of Innovation within the K M Group, and to the resulting awards won by the business, and its ongoing Innovation work.
Murray originally joined the business in May 2017 as a Client Liaison Manager at K M Plant Hire & Groundworks, going on to become the Strategic Operations Manager for K M Plant in September 2017 and the wider Group businesses in September 2020. As an award-winning Procurement and Supply Chain Management specialist in his own right, Murray has worked for some of the Industry's most prestigious leading major Civil Engineering, Highways and Infrastructure specialist Contractors, Water Utilities, Construction Materials Manufacturers, Councils/Local Authorities, and also in ICT. In recent years, Murray has been heavily involved in driving and developing IP protection, Innovation and business process improvement within the K M Group, and is actively involved in encouraging Best Practice in various aspect of the Sector. Murray holds a Doctorate, and is a Certified Expert Fellow of the Institute of Supply Chain Management and sits on the Institute of Supply Chain Management Advisory Panel, and is also a lifelong Honary Fellow of the International Association of Web Masters and Designers.
Amie originally joined K M Plant Hire & Groundworks in 2019 as Administration Assistant, going on to become the Transport Planner and over all Business Administrator for the K M Group in September 2020. Amie joined K M Plant following a successful career in Business Administration within software, Electronic media and data storage management. Having displayed a keen enthusiasm to see projects through creating a “cradle to grave” service Amie progressed into a key
role of ensuring the highest possible standards of systematic excellence in efficient and accurate data control along side correctly followed compliance procedures and processes. Amie prides herself on office standards to drive performance improvements and efficiencies, all delivered in a very friendly manner.
Tracey originally joined K M Plant Hire & Groundworks in June 2019 as Accounts Administrator, going on to become the Office Manager for the K M Group in April 2020. Tracey Joined following on from a successful career in Accounts Management, Training Coordination and Q.A support. Having
displayed a proven ability in the provision of high-level support in the management of administrative roles Tracey progressed in to the key role of ensuring executive and clerical support to all aspects of the busy operations team, making sure office administration is carried out effectively against
demanding resource and time constraints. Tracey ensures prompt resolution of client enquiries and any issues in line with stipulated deadlines.
Donna Joined K M Plant Hire and Groundworks in November 2020 as Operations Administrator.
Donna joined following a successful career in BC2 Retail Management, Trading Standards and
Engineering Maintenance. Having displayed a strong ability for delivering excellent customer service and organisational skills in a fast moving, responsively demanding and dynamic environment, Donna is rapidly progressing into the key role of ensuring the highest possible standards of service, showing passion for conducting logistics and for the hire functions of the business. Donna ensures optimal results are applied to the group wide operations department.
